Why Join NCMA Tysons Corner Chapter

If you are not already a member of the National Contracts Management Association (NCMA), you should consider joining the Tysons Corner Chapter of NCMA (NCMA-TCC). Membership in the NCMA is a great way to stay current with developments in contracting, obtain practical training in interesting topics and meet other professionals in this field. Members are encouraged to obtain professional certification through the NCMA - a great move for advancing your career.

While the NCMA is a well-established organization with national resources and countrywide programs, the greatest benefits of membership are realized at the chapter level. The Tysons Corner Chapter organizes and delivers an array of cutting edge training programs that reflect the issues faced by our members. We provide training in a number of different formats - all day courses with in-depth coverage, two-hour seminars to brief you on current developments, and outstanding dinner speakers who cover a broad range of contracting topics.

Our monthly membership meeting is a great forum for meeting other contracting professionals and developing your professional network. We meet at Maggianos Restaurant in Tysons Galleria on the fourth Tuesday, from September through June. NCMA-TCC is the recognized leader in helping our members prepare themselves for the rigorous NCMA certification examinations. Our prep courses are the best in the NCMA, as evidenced by the overall 91% examination pass rate for our members who complete the course. Our chapter's prep materials have been made available to all members through the national office of NCMA.

Our chapter is also active in giving back to our community, last year raising $10,000 for the Pentagon Survivors Fund and awarding two $1,000 scholarships to deserving college students.
